Hi everyone, my name is Lara and I am a 25 year old teacher from Palmerston North. Girls Go Glam is my small business that I launched in April of this year. I honestly did not believe this business would take off as quickly as it has, and it is thanks to every one of you out there who has shared my business details, so a huge thank you to each and every one of you, I appreciate you all so much.

For those that joined this journey with me in April, you will be aware that my business is a tribute to my Nana who passed away in March, a fashionista in her own right. She owned a fashion shop in New Plymouth for 21 years before retiring! We both have a passion for fashion and part of this is making sure that women of all ages have the chance to feel glam.

Fashion can make us all have confidence and feel glamourous. My aim is to make every lady have the opportunity to feel glam at an affordable price! That is what drives me, to help you all dress and feel your best whatever event you are attending. My family back and support me every step of the way, and that is how we are making this grow. Girls Go Glam is an eco-friendly, sustainable business. We pride ourselves on being a business where people are offered the opportunity to hire often rather than buy a dress that is worn once and then sits in your wardrobe until you work out what to do with it, which is more cost efficient and sustainable. Our packaging is all eco-friendly and recyclable. If you have any questions about this please do not hesitate to ask. We are Manawatu local, but we also ship around New Zealand and have had clients from both ends of the Islands of our beautiful country. 

I also support the women who have fertility issues as it is a fact that 1-8 of us do. I do know and I understand the good times and the hard times, that women face.  I aim to donate towards fertility support, as my business grows. Girls Go Glam has been made to ensure that you all have your chance to shine.

I enjoy meeting you in person, or via the many media forms we use, plus the photo shoots and your pictures that you send through which show you all looking glam and are a true highlight of my day. So stay in contact and together we will make this business a success.
